At Bryant Veterinary Clinic, we believe in thoughtful, personalized vaccine plans — not checklists. Vaccines protect pets from dangerous and contagious diseases, but timing, lifestyle, and risk matter.
That’s why we don’t just say what’s “due.” We take the time to talk through what’s necessary, what’s optional, and what makes the most sense for your pet’s life.
Whether you have a new kitten, a senior dog, or a curious outdoor explorer, we’ll help you stay ahead of preventable illness — with care that fits your routine and your values.
What We Commonly Recommend
We’ll guide you through it, but typical vaccine plans include:
For Dogs:
- Rabies
- DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvo, parainfluenza)
- Leptospirosis
- Bordetella (kennel cough)
- Canine influenza (when needed)
For Cats:
- Rabies
- FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia)
- Feline leukemia (especially for kittens or outdoor cats)
We’ll explain the benefits and timing of each — no rushed decisions or pressure.
Protection That Fits Real Life
Some pets need more protection than others. If your dog goes to daycare, boards often, or hikes with you, they may need extra coverage. Indoor-only cats may need less.
We’ll walk you through the plan that fits, and space things out if needed to keep your pet comfortable.
Why Vaccines Matter
Vaccinations don’t just prevent illness — they protect your pet’s ability to live fully. Routine vaccines:
- Prevent costly, dangerous diseases
- Are often required for grooming, boarding, or travel
- Build long-term immunity with low risk
- Keep your family and other pets safer too
Have questions? We’ll always take the time to explain. Together, we’ll make the right call for your pet.
